NAM KOSTRU

Currently, the square of Jána Kostru is only chimera. It is failed, overgrown space between the cemetery and ugly suburban architecture settlement with the dominant department store. Only the name of undefined place, without the use in the "extreme" surrounding neighborhood. It was a challenge to our proposal. We started with traditional forms of historical squares and created its present design. Closed square and the local vistas and views of the surrounding countryside, sloped stone-tile terraces with randomly standing trees and benches, ended in the symbol of place - at the original chapel covered by new "tower" building, as well as actually were the towers of church or town hall in the historical squares.
